I’m getting married. When should I come in for my first dress fitting?
First of all… Congratulations! We recommend that you come for your first dress fitting 2-3 months before the wedding date. The minimum time required for a dress alteration is different on a case by case basis. So, an initial fitting is needed to determine the duration of the job. If the dress alterations are needed after that 2-3 month time frame, (closer to the wedding), we are able to provide a rush service for an additional fee.
Can you rework my mother/grandmother’s, etc. vintage wedding gown?
Yes! We can rework your vintage wedding gown, no matter who it is from. Imagine this… the vintage gown of your dreams has been reworked to fit you perfectly on your wedding day, or your rehearsal dinner! The original design can be altered to fit, or it can be restructured into an entirely new dress (including a cocktail dress for your rehearsal dinner, or even your getting ready robe).
Satisfaction Guaranteed?
Yes! For every alterations discussed and agreed upon, we will guarantee your happiness.
A member of my bridal party is expecting, how can you accommodate a future bump?
You are in luck! Alterations for expecting mothers is one of our specialties! In most instances, you won’t even need a maternity gown, because we will make that gown work for you.
What should I bring to the first dress fitting?
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
How long do wedding dress alterations take?
You will need to bring the shoes, and any shapewear that you plan to wear on your wedding day.
What is the average cost of bridal alterations?
Please expect the alterations to be between $550-$950 for any bridal/wedding dress alterations. This will include your alterations, and any fitting sessions. For accurate pricing, the dress will need to be seen and assessed in person. A 50% deposit is required to begin any work on the dress. Payment in full is required upon completion.
